Thomas Arthur King
April 10th 1917 – August 21st 2012
The family of T. Arthur King are sorry to announce his passing at the age of 95 years. Art was born in Calgary AB, but raised in Bigger SK with his dad a railway man. He joined the Navy and after the war lived in Carrot River, SK. He was married to Madelene Miller and they lived in Churchill, Manitoba, Ottawa and Vancouver Island prior to retiring in Prince Albert SK in the early 1980’s. Art loved his family and was a devoted Mason and Shriner. He enjoyed sports playing for hockey and softball teams all over Saskatchewan. He also enjoyed traveling. Art is survived by his brother Ross; son Dorland (Wendy) in St. Albert AB and their children Darren and Jennifer; son David (Judy) in BC and their children Jeffrey and Chrystal; and daughter Patsy Spencer of Colorado and her children Ryan and Paul and grandchildren Kiley, Sophia, Jocelyn, Charlie and Tulley. A Graveside service will take place on Thursday August 30th 2012 at 2:00 pm at the St. Mary’s Cemetery in Prince Albert, SK. Those Attending are asked to meet at the Cemetery Gates at 1:30pm. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Masonic Temple in Prince Albert SK.
