Thelma Adams
1926 ~ 2022

At the age of 95 years, Thelma passed peacefully on the morning of March 1, 2022, at Pineview Terrace in Prince Albert, SK. Thelma was born on October 7, 1926, to Edward and Emily (nee Hourie) Whitford in Prince Albert, SK. Thelma married Bert Adams on September 11, 1944, and raised a family of four children.

Thelma’s life was spent on the farm where she loved gardening, quilting, knitting and berry picking. Her door was always open to family, friends, and neighbours, where the coffee was always on with a fresh loaf of bread and homemade jam.

Thelma will be lovingly remembered by family and friends. She is survived by her sons, Norman (Donna) Adams, George (Carol) Adams, and David Adams; her grandchildren, Garry (Lorelei) Adams, Lee Adams, Tammy (Murray) McGunigal, Lyle (McKenzie) Adams, Rodney (Connie) Adams, Curtis (Candace) Adams, and Tracy Adams; her great-grandchildren, Charissa, AJ, Dalton, Haley, Danielle, Demi, Justin, Corbin, Bella, Gabe, Ariana, Ryan, Cody, Alissa, Kyle, and Jessica; her great-great-grandchildren, Lucious, Lyra, Avery, Ellis, Addison, Barrett, Phoenix, Griffin, Parker, Brittany and Emma; her special niece, Beverley Whitford; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thelma was predeceased by her husband, Bert Adams; her parents, Edward and Emily (nee Hourie) Whitford; her sisters, Margaret Hourie and Shirley Sinclair; her brothers, Orville (Pete) Whitford and Norman Whitford; her son, Tom Adams; her grandson, Michael Halkett.

The family would like to recognize the staff at Pineview Terrace for all their love and care they provided to Thelma for the past 4 years.

The Prayer Service for Thelma will be held at 7:00 p.m., on Sunday, March 6, 2022, at the River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK. Thelma’s Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m., on Monday, March 7, 2022, at the River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, both services are officiated by Archdeacon Andrew Hoskin.
