In Loving Memory of Terri Lynn Hustej

 

It is with heavy hearts we announce the passing of our beloved mother, baba, sister, aunt, family member and friend, Terri Lynn Hustej, who passed away peacefully on July 27, 2026, at the age of 61.

Born on September 7, 1964, in Prince Albert, SK, Terri lived a life filled with love, generosity, strength, and unwavering devotion to her family and friends. She had a remarkable ability to make everyone feel welcome by offering kindness, encouragement, and a listening ear to anyone who needed it.

She devoted over 25 years with Pine Grove Correctional Centre, where she inspired countless co-workers and inmates with her patience and compassion.

Above all else, Terri treasured her family. She was the heart of every gathering, the first to lend a helping hand, and the person everyone could count on. Her love was unconditional, and the memories she created with her children, grandchildren, family, and friends will be cherished forever.

She is lovingly remembered by her children Matthew Hustej (Tanya), Michael Hustej (Samantha) and Kyle Hustej; her stepdaughter Jade Kozowy; grandchildren Myles Hustej, Taylan Yildiz, Sloane Hustej, and Keegan Hustej; brother Audie Hustej; sisters Tracy Meyers, Jodie Hustej, Jeannine Hustej, and Cindy Madger (Paul); and many nieces, nephews, cousins, aunties, and uncles that loved her. She was predeceased by her parents Marie and Andrew Hustej.

Although our hearts are broken, we find comfort in knowing that her love, wisdom, and example will remain with us always. She leaves behind a legacy of kindness, resilience, and unconditional love that will continue to inspire everyone who knew her.

A Memorial Service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, August 10, 2026 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 28^th Street West, Prince Albert, SK.  Interment will follow at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens.

Our family would like to thank everyone for their love, prayers, and support during this difficult time. Though she is gone from our sight, she will forever remain in our hearts.
