TANNER COLE LAJEUNESSE
August 26, 1996 ~ November 28, 2020
With broken hearts, the family of Tanner Lajeunesse, announce his passing on November 28, 2020 at the age of 24.
Tanner was born August 26, 1996 in Prince Albert to Roger and Joanne Lajeunesse.
Ever since he was a child, he was loud, whether it be humming, whistling, sharing random facts or playing music at all hours of the day. His favorite childhood memories included his attempts to wrap any and all Donkey Kong games, numerous hours at St. Francis playing grounders, and his summers spent at the lake with his family.
As he got older, Tanner developed a love for music and excelled at the guitar and drums and you would never find Tanner without his speaker in tow. He could spend hours telling anyone who wanted to listen about his vast knowledge of music. Tanner was eccentric and unique, he also had a passion for wild, Value Village fashion. With his charm and charismatic personality, he was loved by many and a friend to all. Whether it was band practice or staff socials, Tanner loved to host events and made sure everyone was having a good time. He could light up any room just by being in it.
He especially loved his summers spent working for the Playground Program in Prince Albert. Children loved his playful nature and looked forward to spending time with him. He always spoke fondly of his Ness Creek Music Festival and Blue Grass families and looked forward to those weekends all year.
Tanner is survived by his loving family: parents Roger and Joanne, sister Brandi (Kobi Tolley), grandparents Edward (Helen) Boutin, as well as numerous uncles, aunties, and cousins.
Tanner will be greatly missed by all who knew him.
Tanner is predeceased by his brother Sterling, paternal grandparents Edmond and Pauline, special Grandma Cookie, Uncle Brian, Auntie Marilyn, and Uncle Carl.
Tanner you are oh so loved. Wherever you are now, I am sure it has gotten a whole lot louder since you arrived. Keep on whistling, banging those drums and strumming that guitar. Tanner is now at peace with his best friend and brother Sterling.
