Sylvia Roznowsky
1930 ~ 2022

Sylvia Roznowsky (née Stefanyshen) was born on December 4, 1930, Preeceville, SK, and passed away on December 31, 2022, in Prince Albert, SK, at the age of 92 years.

Sylvia is survived by her loving family, her son, Wayne (Wendy) Roznowsky and their children, Ryan Roznowsky and Ashley (Wade) Klippenstein and their children, Bowman Klippenstein, Easton Klippenstein, Dresden Klippenstein; her daughter, Kimberly Thompson and her son, Richard Thompson (Bree Chicoine) and their children, Zarah Thompson, Zachary Thompson; as well as many many nieces and nephews.

She was predeceased by her parents, Mykyta & Barbara (née Gulka) Stefanyshen; her husband, John Roznowsky in 1980; her brothers, Paul, Walter, Fred, Harry, Pete, Steve, Mike; her sisters, Stella, Pauline, Mary, Lena, Lorna, Lucy, and Olga.

Sylvia was born to Mykyta and Barbara, the second youngest of fifteen children. She loved her family, and truly loved toiling in her garden, be that produce or flowers. Sylvia will be remembered for her cooking, the queen of providing her family with homemade dill pickles, and Ukrainian feasts.

The family wants to thank the Herb Bassett Home, Paradise Path staff for the loving care of Sylvia in her final years. At Sylvia’s request, no service shall be held.
