Sylvia is survived by her loving family, her husband, Otto Morin; her children, Darwin (Crystal) Morin Sr., Calvin (Vanessa) McCallum Sr., Clemen McCallum (Theola), Lawrence Bloomfield, Janine Morin (Gabe), Jocelyn McCallum; her grandchildren she raised as her own, Tara-Lynn (Joshua) Linklater, Kelsey Morin, Karly (Evan) Sanderson, Chase Morin, Ryker Morin, Hazel Morin and Hazelynn Morin; her grandchildren, Cherish (Kobe), Caley (Teason), Darwin Jr. (Trinity), Chaley (Jameson), Nevaeh, Jaydon, Andee, Grayson, Vera, Varany, Drea, Calvin Jr., Rory, Chloe, Grace, Harold, Tiarra, Tianna, Troy, Keldon, Clemen Jr., Taya, Tanaya, Krista, Kyla, Lawrence Jr., Chavanna, Camille, Lilah, Latisha,Natisha, Nikisha, Kaeson, Talisha (Colson), Tamira; her chapans; her siblings, Beatrice Custer (Gordon), Karen McCallum, Kenneth McCallum, Emile McCallum (Colleen); her in-laws, Maryanne McCallum Sr., Rebecca McCallum, John Merasty, James Sewap, Thomas Morin, Jacob Morin (Hilda), Marjorie Jobb, Josephine Bird, Joan McKenzie (Glenn) Hector Morin, Lorraine Clarke (James), Vera Sayese, Pauline Clarke (Dickie); her sister-in-law/best friend, Susan McCallum; her special nephew & niece, Kevin Morin (Maryanne), and Laura-Lee Custer; mothers of her grandchildren, Becky Budd, Loressa Beatty, Denise Morin; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends. “She opened her heart and home to many, raising and loving them as her own”

She was predeceased by her sons, Tilden McCallum and Keith Morin; her parents, Joseph and Veronique McCallum; her siblings, Marcel McCallum, Adolph McCallum, Frank McCallum, Marjorie Bloomfield, Gordon McCallum, Doris Merasty, Sophie McCallum, Kathleen McCallum, Joseph McCallum, James McCallum; her father and mother-in-law, Philip and Virginia Morin; her in-laws, Mary Ann McCallum Jr., Joe Bloomfield, Bernice McCallum, Raymond Bird, Daniel Jobb; her numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives.

The Prayer Service for Sylvia will be held at 11:00 a.m., on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at River Park Funeral Home, in Prince Albert, SK, with Margaret Ferchuk officiating. The Wake Services will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, and Thursday, April 30, 2026, at the Wapanacak Elementary School, in Pelican Narrows, SK. The Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 p.m., on Friday, May 1, 2026, at the St. Gertrude Roman Catholic Church, in Pelican Narrows, SK, with Fr. Josi Chinthamalla, MSFS, officiating.
