Sylvia was born December 31, 1940 to John and Katherine Pasmeny in Gronlid, SK. She was one of nine children. Sylvia married Alex Klack July 22, 1962 and had three daughters that she leaves to mourn; Teresa (Bill) Kostyniuk of Grande Prairie, AB, Andrea (Kelly) Andersen of Melfort, and Daria Klack (Neil) of Edmonton, AB. She also has four grandsons that she adored; Brennan and Brent Kostyniuk and Kyle and Ryan Andersen. Sylvia is also survived by sisters Sonnia York and Lillian Opdahl and brothers Jack and Jerry Pasmeny as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Sylvia was predeceased by her husband Alex, her parents John and Katherine Pasmeny, brothers Walter and Andrew Pasmeny and sisters Mary Baxter and Sally Pellack. Sylvia passed away June 29, 2013 at Parkland Place in Melfort.
