Susan “Sue” Timmerman (nee Doyle), beloved wife of Kelly Timmerman, died peacefully on September 22, 2024, at the age of 60 years. She was the loving mother to Kyla Timmerman (Robert Lindberg), Ryan Timmerman (Brittany) and her companion pup Sweetpea. She was a proud and loving grandmother to Amelia, Bridget and Clara. She will be lovingly missed by her siblings Patrick, Barbara, Tania and their families, her mother Ann and numerous other friends and relatives.
Susan was born in Vermillion, AB on April 21, 1964 and spent her childhood in Melfort, SK. She was fortunate to have known her future husband as a family friend for many years. They began dating in 1983, quickly fell in love and wed on August 31, 1985. Susan attended SIAST where she became a Licensed Practical Nurse. She went on to work in hospitals, for home care and later at the tuberculosis clinic. The greatest joy of Susan’s life began when she became a mother in 1988. She was then blessed with another baby in 1991 completing her family. She truly was able to shine as a mother and took immense pride in raising her children and keeping a home. She opened her home to other families while running a daycare and poured the same love and affection into the kids in her care. She coached ball teams, volunteered at school, went on field trips and never missed an opportunity to cheer on her kids. She spent countless weekends taking trips up to the family cabin at St. Brieux or hauling the camper she renovated herself to Emma and Candle Lake. Susan lived her entire life in service to others and was always willing to lend support or a helping hand. Later in life she became an avid golfer and enjoyed many ladies’ nights with newfound friends. She spoke fondly of the memories made on vacations to B.C, Arizona, Florida, Las Vegas and Hawaii with her husband, Kelly. Susan was so many things but above all she was devoted, loyal, selfless and one of the best people you could have in your corner. Although her time with us was cut too short, all of our lives are richer having known her.
