Susan Marlene Prosofsky

January 16, 1956 – February 12, 2017

The family of Susan Marlene Prosofsky is deeply saddened to announce that Susan passed away suddenly on February 12, 2017 at the age of 61. Susan was born on January 16, 1956 to Lester and Daisy (nee: Hansen) Kilbreath. She was the first of six children.

In 1976 Susan met and married Alfred Prosofsky of Kenaston, Sask. From this union four children were born- Misty, Clay (Jen), Dustin (Sara), and Jolene (Darek) as well as her 11 grandchildren: Kieran, Taylo, Nathan, Alexandra, Aden, Nevaeha, Dannika, Treyton, Cheryl, Ryley and Angel. Susan is lovingly remembered by her husband, Alfred, their children and grandchildren as well as her siblings: Perry (Linda) Kilbreath, Boyd (Kathryn) Kilbreath, Charlene (Dan Campeau), Travis (Kim) Kilbreath and Guy Kilbreath

Susan was predeceased by her daughter, Misty in 1977,  her mother, Daisy in 2003 and her granddaughter, Angel in 2006. She is also predeceased by her parents-in law, Peter and Eleanor Prosofsky; siblings-in -law, Faye Prosofsky, Lucille Wunsch, Chris, Robert and Nic Prosofsky as well as her nephew, Shad Wunsch.

Susan became the pillar of her family, standing beside her husband of 40 years, helping and encouraging him in any venture they decided to proceed with. She was a lady with a big heart and open arms. You instantly became a part of her family.

A memorial service for Susan will be held on February 16, 2017 at 10:30AM at the Big River Community Hall with Dave Whalley officiating. Private interment will follow the service and lunch will follow back at the hall.
