Stefania Oleynik, beloved mother, grandmother “Babka” and great-grandmother passed away peacefully on Tuesday, June 11, 2013 at the age of 82. Stefania is survived by her loving family: her daughters Helena Warner (Ken) and Diane Oleynik; her grandchildren Amanda (Greg) Howden, Bobby Warner (Lindsay); her great-grandchildren Natasha, Jaclyn and Dallan Howden; her sister and brother Zoska and Stanislaw as well as other family members in Poland. She was predeceased by her husband Walter; her parents; her two brothers and sister; brother-in-law and sister-in-law. Babka loved to cook and bake and made sure everyone had lots to eat. Gardening was her passion. She enjoyed visiting with family and friends. She will be missed and her memory will not fade from those she touched with her kindness. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, June 17 from Our Lady of Czestochowa Church – 160 – 12 Street East by Father Janusz Bizewski. Interment will take place in the South Hill Cemetery. It is the family’s request that those preferring to place memorials may do so to the Heart & Stroke Foundation.
