Stella was born in Smeaton hospital and grew up in Foxford, SK. As a young girl she left home to work in Prince Albert where she met the love of her life, Joe Podhorodeski. They were married on November 16, 1953. They moved to Paddockwood where to this union Brenda and Brian were born. In the spring of 1964, Stella took a job at SS Kresge where she remained until 1981. She then started working OK Economy, retiring from there in December of 1984. Joe and Stella sold their farm in the spring of 1966 and moved to Prince Albert, however, city life was not for them so they created a cabin at Sunnyside Beach at Emma Lake where the best memories were made. Their children and grandchildren and now great-grandchildren all grew up at the lake and are still making memories there. Mom and Dad would have many friends over the years being involved with bowling, dancing, playing cards, camping, fishing and drinking coffee daily somewhere with their coffee gang. Mom, Grandma and GG. We miss you and we love you! May you rest in peace.
