Stanley Edward Plaschewsky passed away peacefully at the Rockyview Hospital on Friday, April 26, 2013 at the age of 75 years after a lengthy illness. Stan was born in Prince Albert, SK, and moved to Calgary in 1970 with his wife Joyce and their two sons. He worked for Burns Foods for over 30 years where he made many lasting friendships. For the next 25 years he owned and operated a recycling business. He loved spending time with his family boating, fishing and telling stories at the cabin in northern Saskatchewan. He will be sadly missed by his sons Randy (Barbara) and Kelly (Karen), grandchildren Cody, Courtney, Jordan, Braden, Colton, Brooklyn, great grandson Kayle, brother Joseph, sister Jeanette as well as many nieces, nephews and friends. He is predeceased by his wife Joyce, sister Mary Suetta, and parents Harry and Helen. The family would like to thank Dr. Murray and the staff of Unit 58 for the kindness and wonderful care they provided.
