Simon Hubert Cook “Good Simon” was born on Saturday, April 20, 1946, in La Ronge, Saskatchewan. He passed away on Tuesday, November 3, 2015, in Southend, Saskatchewan, at the age of 69 years. He is survived by his loving family, his daughters, Rosaleen (Oliver) Halkett, Sheila Cook, Tina (Walter) Cook, Lottie (Dale) Cook, Judy Clarke, and Joyce (Raymond) Budd, his sons, Simon (Linda) Cook and  Morgan (Telsa) Cook, his grandchildren, Warren, Tyler, Christa, Shaun, Reid, OJ, Austin, Jayden, Jace, Jarreth, Amber, Kaydriane, Tanisha, Tasha, Takisha, Sonny, Sterling, Danika-Lynn, Avril, Corbin, Makayva, Emery, Marcus, Kellie, Treyan, Odin, Linda, Marilyn, Rae, Jodi, Adrienne, Andrea and Joshlynn, his great-grandchildren, Carter, Ariella, Kennan, Keyanna, Zethan, Chloe, Zane, Aiden, Kaveriy and Layton, his brothers, George (Della) Cook and Jerry (Rena) Cook, his sisters, Veronique Clarke, Marie Brown, Eva (Joseph) Clarke, Sylvia (Henry) Bird, Florence Roy, Darlene (Brian) Sinclair and Mary Jane Cook, his only auntie, Sarah Bear, his sisters-in-law, Angelique (Larry) Clarke, Nancy Ballantyne and    Suzette (Clifford) Merasty. He was predeceased by his wife, Florence (nee Ballantyne) Cook, his parents, Henry and Margaret (nee McCallum) Cook, his infant brother, Alfred Cook, his infant sisters, Elizabeth Cook and Sylvia Cook, his grandparents, George and Rosalie (nee Ninine) Cook, his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Daniel and Marie Ballantyne, his brothers-in-law, Phillip Ballantyne, Martin Ballantyne, Angus Ballantyne and Richard Brown, his best friends, Michael Clarke and Julie Bird, and numerous relatives and friends. His wake will be held November 5, 2015, at the Reindeer Lake School Gym, and his funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, November 7, 2015, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church in Southend, SK.
