SHIRLEY SCHACHT
Shirley Schacht (nee Delorme) was born on September 4, 1938 in Prince Albert, SK. At the age of 74, she passed away peacefully after a short courageous battle with cancer on Monday, October 29, 2012 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. Shirley will be lovingly remembered by her daughter Kim Yeager of Lake Lenore, SK; her son Rod (Marilyn Bannerman) Schacht of Prince Albert; her 4 grandchildren and 3 great-grandchildren Adam (Robyn) Yeager and their daughter Calli of Lake Lenore; Eric (Raelene) Yeager and their sons Aiden and Jake of Lake Lenore; Petra Yeager (special friend Cody Hogemann) of Lake Lenore and Alex Schacht of Lucky Lake, SK; her brother Norm (Joan) Delorme; her three sisters Doreen Turner; Loraine (Horst) Kruger and Jean Symon as well as numerous nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Karl Heinz Schacht; her parents Fred and Toots Delorme; her brothers Barry and Raymond; her sister Ione; her son-in-law Ron Yeager; her brother-in-law Vern Turner and her niece Dianne Turner. Funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, November 2 from River Park Memorial Chapel. Reverend Nora Vedress will officiate. Interment of cremated remains will take place in South Hill Cemetery. It is the family’s request that those wishing to place memorials may do so to the Canadian Cancer Society. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Colette Kadziolka, Funeral Director.
