SHIRLEY MAY SINCLAIR
Shirley May Sinclair, age 72, of Prince Albert passed away Monday, November 4, 2013. Shirley was born June 14,1941 to Edward and Emily Whitford, the youngest of five children, and was raised on the family farm. In 2001, she was hired as a matron at the City of Prince Albert police station. She was so proud of her job and took great pride in her work. Shirley met Garry in 1966 and was married a year and a half later on March 4, 1967. They had five children : Brenda, Russel, Orville, Warren and Pamela. Shirley was always willing to contribute to family, parish and community events. Anyone who came was always fed and had a warm welcome. She was always well known for her cooking and baking, and entered the Prince Albert Exhibition winning numerous ribbons. Shirley is survived by her loving family : her husband of 46 years Garry Sinclair; her daughters Brenda (Todd) Rombough, Pam Sinclair, Bev Whitford (niece); her sons Russell Sinclair, Orville (Roberta) Sinclair, Warren (Jennifer) Sinclair; her grandchildren Monica (Greg), Paula (Jarin), Charlene (Cameron), Rachel, Courtney, Wyatt, Katrine, Alyssa, Joel, Ashtin, Daniel and Emily; her great–grandchildren Kara, Kaden, Kolby, Shaelynn, Bryce and two forthcoming great-grandchildren (Paula, Monica); her sister Thelma Adams; her sisters-in-law Dorothy (Lyle) Scarf, Barb Sinclair, Deb (Peter) Dolan, Sue Drapeau; her numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews, special cousins, and friends. A celebration of Shirley’s life will take place at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 12, 2013 at the MacDowall Lions Hall, with Archdeacon Andrew Hoskin officiating. Interment will be at St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Lunch will be served after the interment at MacDowall Lions Hall. Memorial donations may be made to Camp Okema or to St. Catherine’s Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are entrusted to the care of Wayne Timoffee, Funeral Director.
