Shirley Edwards, late of Prince Albert, passed away suddenly on July 6, 2013 at the age of 72 years. Shirley was born in Prince Albert, SK on June 4, 1941 to Maxwell and Ruth Jenic. Shirley attended school at the East Central School and then completed business college and went on to work at the RCMP Detachment and Farm Credit Canada for many years until she married the man of her dreams, Cyril, and started a family and settled down. Shirley was a family minded individual, who was always there when she was needed and always knew how to get a good laugh with her jokes and stories. She was a very caring and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Shirley will be lovingly remembered and forever cherished by her children, Lori of North Battleford; and Dwayne (Gwen) of Prince Albert; grandchildren, Fallyn, Kennedi, Amber and Kendal; brother, Des (Bonnie) Jenic of Penticton, BC; her mother, Ruth Jenic, of Prince Albert; aunts, Delphine Ruszkowski of Prince Albert, Ester (Calvin) Beddome of Prince Albert, Sonny (Shirley) Campbell of BC; brothers-in-law, Dale (Paulette) Edwards of AB. Aldy (Betty) Edwards of AB; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins. She was predeceased by her husband, Cyril Edwards and her father, Maxwell Jenic. Funeral Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, July 12, 2013 at Grays Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Pastor Mark Bergen officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations in Shirley’s name can be made to a Charity Donor’s Choice.
