It is with heavy hearts that the family of Sharyn Rose Paquette, late of Christopher Lake, SK, announce her passing on December 9, 2025.

Sharyn was born January 23, 1948, in Prince Albert, SK, to James and Esther Ferguson. In 1970 Sharyn became partners with the love of her life, Paul, with whom she spent the next 55 years. The couple made a home in Thompson, MB where Sharyn began a career in sales, becoming an Avon Ambassador. When the family moved to Allan, SK, she and a colleague opened an upholstery business. Later upon moving to Prince Albert, SK in 1992, she became a Sales Associate for Fanny’s Fabrics, Woolco, Walmart, Sears, and Fabricland. From 1992 to 2013 Sharyn and Paul had a summer home at Ambrose Trailer Court, Emma Lake, SK, where they enjoyed many happy hours with friends and neighbors. In 2013, they sold their home in Prince Albert as well as their summer home at Emma Lake and moved to their acreage near Northside, SK. Sharyn enjoyed many hobbies and interests, including camping, gardening, tending to her flowers, and painting.

Sharyn is survived by her loving husband, Paul Paquette; her children, Daniel Paquette (Julie) and their son, Andrew; Scott Paquette; Dennis Paquette and daughter, Inga; and Michelle Andreae (Darren Tkach) and their daughters, Brooke and Jenna; sisters, Donna Rondeau, Sandra Mitchell, and Christine Ferguson; and numerous nephews and nieces.

Sharyn is predeceased by her parents, James and Esther Ferguson (nee Irvine); daughter-in-law, Margaret Dustyhorn; her brothers-in-law, Joe Rondeau, Rod Brown, Bill Mitchell, Bruce McBride, Rene Paquette (Debbie nee Marchand); and sister-in-law, Dorothy (nee Paquette) (Walter) Gunnlaugson.
