Sharon Adelle Soloducha
June 25, 1934 – November 24, 2025
Sharon Soloducha (nee Bissky) was born in 1934 on the family farm in Russelville and passed away at the Victoria Hospital at the age of 91.
Mom was the middle child of five with three brothers and one sister. She met Tony in 1951 and when they were engaged, Mom took a course on being the wife of a farmer. From that she learned how to sew, cook, can, grow a garden and do a budget; all traits that she shared with her children and grandchildren her whole life.
Together Mom and Dad built a home and farm they were very proud of. Mom was always involved in all farming activities and combined her last crop at 89 years of age! Travelling, ice fishing, berry picking, dancing and playing cards were all things she loved to do.
Sharon is lovingly remembered by her children, Patrick (Corinne) of Steep Creek and their family; Michael (Danielle) and their children, Ella and Maia of B.C., and Alex and Sarah Soloducha of Regina; Karen (Ken) Cottrell of Prince Albert; Mark (Tina) of Edmonton, AB, and their daughter, Tarra, of Victoria, B.C.; her sister, Loretta Skinner of Victoria, B.C.; sisters-in-law, Doris Bissky and Emily Bissky of Prince Albert; her brother-in-law, Nick (Betty) Soloducha of Regina; as well as many nieces, nephews, friends and neighbors. She was predeceased by her husband, Tony; her grandson, Brian Soloducha; her granddaughter, Julie Soloducha; her brothers, Elwood (Dorothy) Bisskey, David Bissky and Stanford Bissky; her brothers and sisters-in-law, Stanley Skinner, John (Nettie) Kerpan, Peter (Jessie) Soloducha, Pearl (Vern) Green, Doris (Alfred) Baron, Steve (Irene) Soloducha, Sam (Elsie) Soloducha, and John Soloducha.
A Private Family service was held on November 29, 2025, in Steep Creek Cemetery. A Celebration of Sharon’s Life will be held in the spring.
Thank you to everyone who shared in Mom’s life.
