Scott Allan Zarazun, beloved son of Eileen Zarazun and the late Allan Zarazun, passed away suddenly May 2, 2017 at the age of 53 years. Scott was born August 15, 1963 in Canora Sask. Scott began primary school in Yorkton Sask. and continued in Prince Albert where he attended St Mary’s High School. Throughout these years Scott was actively involved in the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts of Canada organizations. Scott enjoyed numerous hobbies that were associated to the re-building of any and all electrical or mechanical devices. These self taught leisure pursuits would turn out to be invaluable skills in his future ventures. This would include helping his father construct the family cabin from the ground up and many other home renovation projects. Once the cabin was completed Scott and his family spent many weekends and vacation time snowmobiling, boating and fishing. There were also family vacations to locations outside of Saskatchewan where Scott tried his hand at deep sea fishing, clam digging and enjoying the sights of new locales and landscapes. Scott’s career took him down many paths that involved plumbing, electrical, construction and his greatest love cooking, just to name a few. These opportunities also introduced him to many people that would become his friends. In 2010 Scott’s journey took him to Edmonton Alberta. Scott quickly adapted to life in Edmonton and gained many very close friendships, strong support network and great medical attention. Scott was predeceased by his father Allan Zarazun April 1, 2017, his grandparents Paul and Stefka (nee Hnatiw) Zarazun, Frank and Mary (nee Thomas) Miller, two uncles August Kowalchuk, Bernard Schultz and one aunt Clara Schultz. Left to mourn his passing is his mother Eileen Zarazun, sister Denise (Ernie) Marcotte, step nephew Todd (Emily) Marcotte and son Maddox, step niece Monique (Nikki) Marcotte, sister Lori (Calvin) Kosowan, nephew Levi (Samantha Leason) Kosowan, nephew Tanner (Carol Winger) Kosowan, nephew Corbin Kosowan and all the people that shared in his life.
Cremation has taken place and the family will have a private ceremony and internment at a later date. Arrangements entrusted to Gray’s Funeral Home Prince Albert, Sk.
