It is with heavy hearts the family of Scott Andrew Yeomans announce his tragic passing. God called Scotty to be an Angel on May 15, 2014 at the age of 24. Scotty was born on February 20, 1990 in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan to Todd and Cheryl Yeomans. He graduated from St. Mary’s High School in 2010. Scotty entered the work force at M&M Building Supplies, then went to Thorpe Brothers where he started his Sheet Metal Trade, he then proceeded onto Skyline Construction and was working at Triumph Construction at the time of his death. Scotty could light up a room with his beautiful smile, and everywhere he went he made many friends. Scotty loved to live life to the fullest, he loved to joke and tease and because of him many of his friends will have nic names for life. Scotty loved the game of hockey and began playing in Atom all the way to Midget, he started his career playing defense but wanted to be like his idol Patrick Roy and was goalie from his second year in atom to his last year in midget. He continued his love of hockey and played rec league. His passion was playing hockey and watching his Montreal Canadians with his family and friends. Scotty also enjoyed playing slow-pitch, fishing with his family and spending time with T-man and Haily. He will be forever missed by his parents Cheryl and Todd; sister Ashley and her children Tanner and Haily; brother Brandon (Ariel). He will be missed by his grandparents Christina Hotvedt, Louise Fox, James (Rose) Villeneuve and numerous Aunts, Uncles, Cousins and Friends. He was predeceased by: Grandpa Stanley Yeomans; Great Uncles Jack and Gary Yeomans; his good buddy Billy Hallett and his peer Brodie Zagoruy. Prayer Service will be held at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, May 21, 2014 with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, May 22, 2014. Both services will be held at S t. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Reverend Father Travis Myrheim Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes donations can be made to the Karen Pilon Organ Donor Awareness Foundation, Conexus Credit Union, 2800 – 2nd Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5Z4.
