It is with tremendous sorrow that we announce the sudden passing of our daughter, sister, granddaughter, niece, cousin and friend Sarah Heather Larson (affectionately known as ‘Red’) on Monday, January 27, 2020 in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan at the tender age of 23. Sarah was born in Prince Albert, Saskatchewan on June 17, 1996. She attended Ecole Vickers Elementary School for Kindergarten through Grade 8, plus the first half of Grade 7 at Rivier Academy. For her secondary years she attended Carlton Comprehensive High School and PACI. Sarah was a bright, headstrong, kind and loving girl with beautiful red curls, a smattering of freckles and a memorable smile. Sarah participated in a variety of extracurricular activities including PAYSA house league soccer, volleyball, cross country running and cheerleading. For the last seven years of her life Sarah lived and worked in Saskatoon and Lanigan, Saskatchewan. She made numerous friends at the places she worked including the Lagana Hotel, Famoso, Mano’s, Fionn Macool’s and Red Zone. Her generous nature resulted in her often finding and keeping stray animals, including Spiderman the kitty and Ellie the pup, but her favorite pets were Dallas and Barney. Red, you will be forever loved and missed. We hope you have now found peace. Her memory will be cherished by her parents Bonnie (Paul Balone) Larson and Christian and Kathy Larson; brothers Dillon, Evan and Spencer Larson; maternal grandparents George and Julie Crowe; paternal grandparents Cliff and Barb Krivak; auntie Tristina Macek; cousins Dezriell Crowe, Tanielle Impey, Kieden Impey, Makenna Impey, Braxten Macek and Daryian Macek; and numerous extended family and friends. She was predeceased by her Auntie Amy Crowe, cousin Kyiel Impey, and paternal grandfather Lyle Larson. A private celebration of life and interment at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens was held on Monday, February 3, 2020. The family thanks all for their understanding and privacy at this difficult time.
