Arthur “Sandy” Roberts was born on Thursday, June 25, 1925, La Ronge, SK, and passed away on Saturday, November 7, 2015, in La Ronge, SK, at the age of 90 years. Sandy is survived by his loving family, his sisters, Anne Hryniuk and Vicky Roberts, his brother, Isaac Roberts, his nieces, Christina Cook, Sharon (Leonard) Gaudet, Linda Cook, Angie Cook (Bob Menzies), Bella Roberts, Wendy McPhail, Melina Roberts, Jane Hancheroff and Linda Sanderson, his nephews, John (Evelyn) Roberts, Morris (Martha) Cook, Richard Cook (Amanda Patterson), Warren (Flora) Hryniuk, Jimmy Hryniuk, Jeffrey Hryniuk (Tina Halkett), Emil Roberts and Russell (Sherry) Roberts, as well as numerous great-nieces, great-nephews, grandchildren and chapans. He was predeceased by his parents, Malcolm and Sally (nee Charles) Roberts, his sisters, Mary Roberts, Jane Roberts and Minnie McAllister (Bert Cloud), his brothers, James Roberts, Daniel Roberts and Joe Roberts, his nephew, Jacob Roberts, and his brother-in-law, John Hryniuk. His wake will be held at 5:00 p.m., Monday, November 9, 2015, at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK, and his funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, November 10, 2015, at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK. Interment will take place at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
