Sandra passed away, surrounded by her loving family, on February 14, 2023 in Victoria, BC. This beautiful soul was born on April 25, 1951 to Armand and Janet (Netta) La Liberté of Prince Albert, SK. She graduated in 1969 from Academy Presentation of Mary in Prince Albert, SK and married Kerry Paul later that year. Sandra later married Fred Chester in 1979.

Sandra began her career in Prince Albert at the public library, moved on to the Credit Union for many years, and finished at Exclusive Auto Marine.  In her spare time, she enjoyed painting, knitting, and making jewelry.

She loved spending her time with her children and her most precious grandchildren.  Sandra and Fred spent many years at Candle Lake, SK and enjoyed travelling, and wintering in Yuma, AZ in their retirement. They moved to Victoria in 2016.

Sandra is survived by her husband, Fred Chester; her children, Richard (Anna), Kristine, Lisa and Jamie (Carla); her brother Gordon (Carol) and sister Janet (Ron); her cherished grandchildren, Mickey, Keenan, Alina, Shakeeba, Liam, Hanna and Bryn; and many wonderful nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. She was cherished by many of her children’s friends and was endeared as Momma Sandy.

There will be a quiet celebration of life with the immediate family, who are deeply mourning their loss.  Sandra was a kind, generous and amazing ray of light and love.   She will be missed by the many she touched in her life.  RIP Momma💙
