Sandra Mae Brass

August 13, 1958 – January 6, 2019

We sadly announce the passing of Sandra Mae Brass (Ross) on January 6, 2019.  Loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and beloved sister.  Sandra was born on August 13, 1958.  Sandra struggled with rheumatoid arthritis for many years.   She did not let this disease hold her back.  She always worked hard and didn’t let it get to her.  She always had a smile on her face.  She loved being out at the lake with Mom and Dad.  She loved nothing better than cooking a meal for visitors.  She was a great inspiration to so many people in how she managed her disease.  She had a positive attitude and lived life to the fullest.  Sandra will be sadly missed by her mother, Josephine Choumont; her children, Mona (Ray) Clarke, Ronald Brass, and Brandi (Ken) Johnson; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; her siblings Sharron (Ben) Lahaye, Barb (Cliff) Wykes, Wendi (Claude) Lebrun, Marcella (Brian) Garson, Marty (Gerri) Choumont, Ramona Choumont, Lori Choumont-Roy, Shannon (Brian) Brass, Brad (Bonnie) Choumont and Leslie (Terry) Clarke; and numerous nieces and nephews.  She also leaves to mourn the father of her children Barry Brass, her special friend Jim Doherty, and her family and friends at Mont St. Joes.  She was predeceased by her father Ed Choumont and brother-in-law, Darwin Roy.  We would like to thank all the staff at Mont St. Joseph Home for the loving care and compassion they showed Sandra over the years.  Funeral Service will be held at 1:00pm on Friday, January 11, 2019 at Mont St. Joseph Home – 777 28^th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Father DJ Vu and Deacon Eldon Danielson officiating.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Sandra’s memory may be directed to the Mont St. Joseph Foundation – 777 28^th Street East, Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C2.  Family and friends wishing to send online condolences are welcome to visit www.beaulacfuneralhome.com.  Arrangements have been entrusted to the care of Beau “Lac” Funeral Home, Marianne Turcotte, Funeral Director, Prince Albert, SK 306-763-3322.
