It is with heavy hearts that the family of Russell “Charlie” Bird announce his sudden passing on July 1, 2013 in the Victoria Union Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. at the age of 67 years.

Russell was born to Alfred George Bird and Olive (nee: Ahenakew) Bird in Prince Albert, SK.

The Wake Services commenced on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall at 1:00 p.m.

The Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, July 4, 2013 in the Ahtahkakoop First Nation Band Hall at 2:00 p.m. with Rev. Marj Hyman as officiant.

The Interment will be in St. Mark's Anglican Cemetery on Ahtahkakoop First Nation.
