Roy Edward Osolinski
(August, 2, 1944 – November 9, 2011)
It is with great sadness that the family of Roy Osolinski announces his passing on Wednesday, November 9, 2011 at the age of 67.
He was born on August 2, 1944 in St. Julian in his mother’s garden. Roy grew up in Crystal Springs where he helped on the family farm. He married and had three children, Connie (Frank), Shelley (Warren) and Lance. He had two grandsons, Hunter and Jaxson.
Roy worked 25 years in the pulp industry where he was able to continue his love of the outdoors. Following that, he co-owned Magic Cleaners which has served the Prince Albert area for 18 years.
Roy was predeceased by his father Ididore; mother Polly; sisters Jean, Ricki and Mary and brothers Stan, Larry and Johnny. He is survived by his daughters Connie (Frank) and Shelley (Warren); son Lance; grandsons Hunter and Jaxson; sisters Helen (Frank), Liz and Paula and brother Morris (Pat).
Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 15, 2011 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with celebrant Val Bodnaryk. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.grays.ca.
