Roy Richard Charles was born on Sunday, December 21, 1971 in Prince Albert, SK and passed away on Tuesday, January 10, 2017 in Prince Albert, SK at the age of 45 years. Roy is survived by his loving family, his son Charles Durocher, his daughter Centry Charles, his step-children Ashley Howe, Tyler Howe and Roger Howe, the mother of his children Deanna Howe, his sisters Hannah Johnson, Muriel (Pat) Cheney, Patsy Thimpsen, Sarah (Patrick) Cavanagh, Lily Rose (Corey) Haberman, Adele Charles (Jonas Sanderson), Mary Charles (Henry Short) and Brenda Lee (Billy) Roberts, his brother John Henry (Rose) Charles, his special brother Darcy (Mary Ann) Charles, his special nieces Marla Charles and Mary Jean Sauvé, his step-sisters Doreen Fiddler and Darlene Fiddler, and his step-brothers Ronnie, Dale, Melvin and Allan Fiddler, as well as numerous nieces and nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his mother Jean Fiddler, his father Philip Charles, his step-father Roy Fiddler, his sisters Marlene Jane Gaudet and Ida Gwen Thompson, and his grandparents Rosie & Alpheus Charles and Jeremiah & Jean Marie McKenzie. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 14, 2017 and continued Sunday, January 15, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Roy’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Bishop Adam Halkett officiating. Interment to follow at the Anglican Church Cemetery in La Ronge, SK.
