Ross Cromartie

Ross James Cromartie passed away on Sunday May 17, 2015 at the age of 53 years, at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert, SK. He was born December 23, 1961 to Lester and Grace nee Forbes. Ross followed in both his father’s and his brother’s footsteps and worked in road construction. He was a heavy equipment operator with more than 25 years’ experience. Working all over Saskatchewan, into Alberta and BC. Ross loved playing cards, board games, fishing, horseback riding, his dream catchers, and playing Santa Clause for the kids. He will be fondly remembered for his kind and giving heart. Ross is survived by his sons David (Melissa) Crumley, and John Cromartie; his mother Grace; his sisters MaryEllen (Scott) Reed and Leslie Gunderson; his sister-in-law Tina Laliberte; as well as numerous other relatives and friends. He was predeceased by his father Lester; brother Todd; brothers-in-law Dwayne Gunderson and Bernard Gunderson; and David’s mother Cindy Crumley. Memorial Service for Ross will be held at 1:00pm on Friday May 22, 2015 at the Parkside Immanuel Lutheran Church with Pastor Chris Dean officiating. In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be directed to the Big River Cemetery or to the Parkside Immanuel Lutheran Church.
