ABREY, Roseline- It is with heavy hearts that we announce our beloved mother, Roseline Abrey (Sather) passed away peacefully in her sleep on April 12, at the age of 74. Our “mama” was born April 7th, 1939 on the family farm near Loreburn, Saskatchewan. She was the second of four children born to Olaf and Rose. Prior to meeting and marrying our father, Ralph, mom worked for farming families. Our family moved to the Christopher Lake area in 1970. Mom moved to Prince Albert in the early 80’s where she resided off and on until her passing. Our mom was a hard working woman, often holding down more than one job. She was extremely kind and generous, many times giving away her last dollar because she thought the recipient needed the money worse than she did. She enjoyed her retirement at Carment Court. The friends she met there meant a lot to her. She is survived by her son, Steven Abrey (Patty); daughter Holly (Bart) Abrey-Hare; grandchildren Latasha, Curtis, and Brent; great-grandchildren Jenika, Landen and Janayah; her sister Mona (Walter); and her brother Delano (Sharon). She was predeceased by her parents Olaf and Rose Sather (nee Wilson); and her brother Orin, along with other friends and relatives.
