Rose-Marie Alphonsine Doderai passed away surrounded by family on September 28th 2025 at the age of 70. She is survived by her only daughter Ebony Doderai. Her three siblings Denise Labatch (Allen), Victor Doderai (Rosalind) and Roger Doderai. Her nieces and nephews, Sheila Bohlmann (Gord), Cheryl Zamora (Yadian), Jason Labatch (Christine), Ryan Doderai (Joey), Dustin Doderai (Melanie) and Brendan Doderai (Heidi). As well as numerous great nephews and nieces.

Rose-Marie is predeceased by her parents, grandparents and many aunts, uncles and cousins.

Rose-Marie was born in Birch Hills on February 26th 1955 to Joseph Theodore Doderai and Rose Marie Anne Doderai (Jobin).

She loved growing up on a farm which taught her hard work and nurtured in her a great love of all kinds of animals.

She completed grade one through twelve in St. Louis, graduating in 1973. She briefly attended Saskatoon Business College but then switched to hair dressing graduating from Marvel’s Cosmetology School.

Rose-Marie had many different careers in her life from photographer to hairdresser to bank teller to various roles in the hospital system. She retired in 2015 and enjoyed 10 years of freedom.

She often had a short fuse but would move mountains to help someone she loved.

She loved to party, collect antiques, visit with friends and family, spend time with her many pets and watch movies.

She will be greatly missed.

The Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, October 3, 2025 at 10:30 am in the St. Louis Roman Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Phong Tran as Celebrant. Interment of the Urn will follow at the St. Louis Roman Catholic Cemetery. Donations in memory of Rose-Marie can be made to any charity of personal Choice. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Marc Blondeau, Kushneryk Funeral Service, Wakaw, SK 1-306-233-4403.
