1923 – 2016

Rose Yvette Marie Batting (nee Masserey) passed away on July 8, 2016, at the Herb Bassett Home in  Prince Albert, at the age of 93. She was predeceased by her parents, Alexis and Denise Masserey, her husband, Fred, her brothers, Rene Masserey, Edmund Masserey, and Laurier Masserey, her sisters, Simone Lemoal, Blanche Sarrazin, Lynn Fulmore, Lorainne McLelland, and Lucienne Herman, as well as several siblings in infancy. She is survived by her special niece, Carol (Art) Gray and family, her sister, Pearl Wright, her sister-in-law, Shirley Masserey, and her brother-in-law, Otto (Helen) Herman, as well as many nieces and nephews. In lieu of flowers, donation may be made to a charity of one’s choice. Sincere thanks to the staff at the Herb Bassett Home for the excellent care during Yvette’s stay with them. A funeral service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, July 12, 2016, at River Park Memorial Chapel, Reverend Gregg Rustulka officiating.
