ROSE ELIZABETH AIMOE
FEBRUARY 18, 1960 – JANUARY 4, 2013
It is with great sadness that we announce the sudden passing of our beloved mother Rose Elizabeth Aimoe “Baby Doll”, aged 52 on January 4, 2013 at 2:50 p.m. at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon. As a daughter, mother, sister, kookum, aunty, cousin and a friend, she touched the lives of many in her own special way. She was an amazing storyteller, leading you into a story in a way that kept you on the edge of your seat until the end, letting out her infamous laugh, making all those around her laugh. Her favourite stories were always about her children and grandson, a situation or a funny incident that made her laugh, her pride in her children and grandson shone through in these stories. She was blessed with an amazing gift to cook and host, and used her gift to nurture and welcome those around her. Rose leaves to mourn her mother and father, Eli and Cecelia Nateweyes (Prince Albert, SK); her children Robbie, Kristin and Ryan (Edmonton, AB), and Jordan Titarenko (Prince Albert, SK); her brothers Joseph, Jean, Arthur, Eric, Ambrose and Darcy; her sisters Crystal, Myrna and Roberta; many nephews, nieces, uncles, aunties, and cousins; and her favourite little man of all: Grandson Lincoln James Alexander Aimoe “Bubs in the tubs”. Rose was predeceased by Grandfathers Jean Marie Bear and Matthew Nateweyes, brothers James and Kelvin Nateweyes and nephew Jeremy Wolfe. The family of Rose wishes to express their appreciation to the staff at R.U.H. A brief visitation will take place at the Westwood Funeral Chapel from 9-11 a.m. on Friday January 11, 2013, with the memorial service to follow at the City Centre Church (701 20th St. W., Saskatoon, SK) at 1pm, Interment will be at Woodlawn Cemetery, followed by a tea at the City Centre Church. “Bless the Lord, O my soul, and all that is within me, bless his holy name! Bless the Lord, O my soul, and forget not all his benefits, who forgives all your iniquity, who heals all your diseases, who redeems your life from the pit, who crowns you with steadfast love and mercy, who satisfies you with this good so that your youth is renewed like the eagle’s.” (Psalm103)
