Rosanna Marie Tetarenko passed away peacefully on February 8, 2015 at the age of 91 at the Victoria Hospital in Prince Albert with family members at her side. Rosanna was born on January 12, 1924 on the homestead farm west of St. Louis, SK in the Lecoq District. Rose’s life consisted of teaching school in Titanic (West of Duck Lake), helping her parents in the general store in St. Louis and as a homemaker raised four boys. She then worked at Kresge’s in Prince Albert in the jewelry department. From there she worked for the St. Louis Credit Union where she later became the Manager. Throughout her life she enjoyed gardening, baking, playing cards and Bingo. She loved curling, bowling and arm wrestling with her grandchildren. Rose will be lovingly remembered by: her husband of 63 years, Bruce; sons, Donald, Glen (Jennifer), Douglas (Lucille) and Wallace (Donna); grandchildren, Bridgette, Erin, Joshua, Jonah, Dail (Deon), Joey (Sarah), Lindsey (Garrett), Curtis, Crystal (Brent), Kelsey (Kyle); and great grandchildren, Gabriel, Hadley, Bailey, Kaden, Locklan, MacLane, Van and Amos; brother in law, Jim (Lorette) Boucher and sister in law, Flora (Theodore) Boyer, numerous nieces, nephews and extended family. Rose was predeceased by her parents, Alfred and Elizabeth Boyer; brothers, Octave (Therese), Theodore, Joseph (Evelyne) and Walter (Anne) Boyer; sisters, Ida (Mac) Vermette and Lorette Boucher; and nieces and nephews. Special thanks to the Mont St. Joseph Nursing Home staff and volunteers, Rose and Bruce thoroughly enjoyed the entertainment and lunches at Mont St. Joseph. Another special thanks to the Level 5 staff at the Victoria Hospital for the love and care they gave to Rosanna. The Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260-25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK on Friday, February 13, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. with Reverend Father Roque Concepcion as celebrant. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. Donations in memory of Rosanna may be directed to Mont St. Joseph Home, 777 – 28th Street East Prince Albert, SK S6V 8C2 or to The Alzheimer Society of Saskatchewan.
