It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Ron Robert on April 13, 2025.

Ron was born on November 25, 1948, in Prince Albert to Joseph and Phyllis Robert.

Ron enjoyed hunting and fishing over the years, but his true passion was his career. Ron was a skilled Bricklayer and worked in BC, AB, SK, and Ontario, placing stone on houses, fireplaces, Canalta hotels, pillars and more. He loved to visit the local coffee shop and became a regular at Smitty’s, Humpty’s and Grainfields, always welcoming company!

Ron will be lovingly remembered by his son, Marc Robert (his children’s mom, Tammy Robert); his daughters, Danielle Werchuk (Brad) and SherriLee Carlson (Brian); his grandchildren, Zackery Robert, Maksim Robert, Brooke Werchuk, Casey Carlson-Roberts, and Marcus Carlson; his sister, Vivian LaPorte (Dennis Thomson); his nephews, Kristopher Olofson (Jody Workman) and Curtis Robert (April); as well as numerous other relatives and friends.

Ron was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Phyllis Robert; his brother, Les Robert; and Marc and Danielle’s mother, Louise Robert-Paquette.

The family invites you to come and have one last cup of coffee with Ron as we celebrate his live with coffee, photos, stories and jokes on Saturday, May 3, 2025, from 2:00 p.m. – 4:00 p.m., at Carlton Park Hall, 3100 Dunn Drive, Prince Albert.
