1936 – 2012
Roger Grimard late of Prince Albert, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 15, 2012 at the Royal University Hospital in Saskatoon, SK surrounded by close family. Roger was born in Prud’homme, SK on November 24, 1936 he has resided in Prince Albert for over 50 years. During that time he worked at Dairy Producers Co-op for 30 years. Roger is survived by his wife of 50 years Pat (Boyd); two daughters Wendy and Sharon (Roger Halbgewachs); two precious grandchildren Reece and Tiana; one sister Olivine Blain; two brothers Adelard (Clara) and Willie (Lorette); two sisters-in-law Aline Grimard and Lucienne Grimard; one brother-in-law Cam Bryce and numerous nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents Albina and Henri Grimard; two brothers Oscar and Gaston; three brothers-in-law Dollard Blain and Harry and Lorne Boyd and one sister-in-law Sharon Bryce. Roger will always be remembered by his hard work, willingness to lend a hand to anyone that needed it and the love of the kids that he and Pat looked after. Special thanks to Dr,. Halyk for the care he has provided for Roger over the years. Memorial Service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Tuesday, November 20, 2012 at St. Joseph Roman Catholic Church, 260 – 25th Street East, Prince Albert, SK with Celebrant Reverend Father Roque Concepcion. In lieu of other tributes, memorial donations can be made to the Sask. North Acquired Brain Injury Outreach Team, 1521 – 6th Avenue West, Prince Albert, SK S6V 5K1 (306-765-6631).
