In January of 2019 Rodney suffered serious injuries following an accident at work. This accident brought Rodney home to Saskatchewan where he would spend the remainder of his life. Rodney enjoyed his time in Prince Albert where he was able to reconnect with old friends, and form new relationships. For those who knew Rodney well he enjoyed having friends and family over for meals, doing puzzles and watching movies.
The family would like to thank the staff at Rehab City Hospital who took care of Rodney while he was recovering from his accident. Further gratitude is sent to the staff of the Cooperative Health Centre and especially Doctor Ekpenike who took great care of him with kindness and love, and to the staff on 6th floor at the Victoria Hospital for their kindness and compassionate care.
