It is with great sadness that the family of Rodney Raymond Tourond, late of Prince Albert, SK, announce his passing on September 10, 2025, at the age of 53 years.

“Rod” had a passion for fishing, camping, and hunting. He enjoyed having a beer and spending time  at the farm as well as with his beloved Kitty. He was the “camp cook” for all the boys outings and family gatherings. Rod also loved country music and could be heard requesting his favorite songs on CJWW. His career consisted of construction, roofing and sheet metal work. He was the type of person that would give you the shirt off his back and was always willing to lend a hand. He will be sadly missed.

Rodney is survived by his loving family, his mother, Lori Tourond; brothers, Robert and children, Heaven Sawatzky (Blake, Laila, and Gregory), Savanna Tourond (Charlie, and Dexter), Terrance Tourond (Kirsten Kleiboer), and Danielle Tourond (Annalynn, Brenna, and Lainey); Ryan (Holly) and children, Ryan Jr, and Michael (Rod’s Godson); Travis and children, Agenor, Octavia, and Xadius; sisters-in-law, Ruby Tourond and Amy Bignose; grandmother, Edith Pocha; Godmother, Annie Schmidt; and his companion, Virginia Merasty.

Rodney was predeceased by his father, Terrance Tourond; and grandparents, Michael Pocha, and Agenor and Alice Tourond.
