Robert Charles Keighley was born on Friday, July 1, 1927 in La Ronge, SK and passed away on Wednesday, April 26, 2017 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 89 years. Bob is survived by his loving family: his children, Ernest Keighley, Miles Keighley, Alice (Bill) Wilson and Les (Norma) Keighley; his adopted son, Tubby (Debbie) Bell; his 13 grandchildren; his 31 great-grandchildren; his 13 great-great-grandchildren; his sister, Alice (Ed) Schmidt; his brother-in-law, Chris Thimpsen; and his sister-in-law, Vicky Sanderson; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his wife, Susan Amelia (nee Sanderson) Keighley; his grandson, Bobby Keighley; his parents, Basil and Mary (nee Charles) Keighley; his sister, Florence (George) Bell; his daughter-in-law, Maggie (nee Bear) Keighley; his sister-in-law, Jessie Roberts; his father-in-law and mother-in-law, Abel and Nancy Sanderson; and his brothers-in-law, Miles, Samson and Henry Sanderson. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, April 30, 2017 at Kitsaki Hall in La Ronge, SK. Bob’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, May 1, 2017 at All Saints Anglican Church in La Ronge, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at La Ronge Anglican Church Cemetery.
