Robert “Mikey” Michael Hollingshead passed suddenly on October 12, 2016 on the family farm, at the age of 20. Mikey was born on January 17, 1996 in Saskatoon, SK, to Liz Hollingshead, and Michael Heidt. From the time he could walk, he ran everywhere in his younger years. He was an adventurous young man, climbing trees, swinging from his rope in the living room, and exploring the woods. He enjoyed camping, hunting, and fishing with his Grandma and Grandpa Heidt, and his uncles. His mentor through his life was his Grandpa Ray, he learned a lot from him. In his Grandpa’s later years, Mikey liked to be near his Grandpa and listen to his tales of the old days. He was a very talented artist and could always be seen sketching in his sketchbook. He enjoyed playing video games, going on YouTube to watch funny videos, and watching comedies and horror films in his room. Mikey attended Meath Park School from Kindergarten to Grade 12. He made many friends at school with his awesome sense of humour and always with his compassionate heart. Mikey will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
