BROUSSIE, Rickey John passed away May 10, 2012 in Saskatoon at the age of 35 years. Rickey was born December 1, 1976 in Black Lake, SK. Rickey will be lovingly remembered by his girlfriend: Lena May Seegerts; his daughter: Cheyanne Sylvia Broussie; his father: Martin Broussie; his Godparents: Jimmy & Roseanna Laban; his siblings: Florence (Archie) Beavereye, Irene Broussie of Stoney Rapids, Gilbert (Tracey) Broussie of Black Lake, , Johnny Broussie of Black Lake, Doris Broussie of Black Lake, and Terry Broussie of Black Lake; his 25 nieces and nephews: Clifford, Katelynn, Christina, Iris, Davis, Tristen, Rodney, Anna, Jada, Jayden, Jacey, Casey, Mason, Delvin, Isabella, Isaiah and Baby Terron; his great nephews: Elden and Brady; his aunts and uncles: Jimmy (Roseanna) and family of Black Lake, Paul (Rose) Laban and family of La Ronge, Jean (Adolf) Sha’Oulle and family of Black Lake, Mary (David) Bigeye and family of Black Lake Elsie Robillard, Lena Robillard, Pierre (Dora) Broussie, Jimmy (Bernice) Broussie, and Mag (May) Broussie; as well as numerous special cousins and friends: Victor Renie, Issac Donard, Shane MacDonald, Modest Aistine, Leroy Dzelyion, Dennis Dzelyion, Ricky Robillard, Derek Robillard, Calvin Robillard, Gilbert Robillard, Gilbert Ettibar, Peter Disain, Bradley Ettibar, and Darcy Merasty.
Rickey was predeceased by his mother: Rosine Broussie; his grandparents: John & Veronique Laban and Willy & Margaret Broussie; his siblings: Donald, Mervin, Shirley and Leonard Broussie; his nieces: Angela Broussie and Alvina Beavereye; his aunt and uncles: Judith & Norbert Ettibar and Toby Laban; his great-grandparents: Germaine & Estare Laban and Daphale & Rosalie Medal; as well as numerous relatives and friends. A Wake Service will commence Friday, May 11, 2012 at the residence of Martin Broussie in Black Lake, SK. A Funeral Service will be held Tuesday, May 15, 2012, 2pm, at Our Lady of the Cape Roman Catholic Church in Black Lake, SK with Father Joseph Daley as celebrant. Intement to follow at Black Lake Cemetery, Black Lake, SK.
