Richard (Rick) Smith was born on September 21, 1962 in Regina Saskatchewan and passed away on Monday September 1st, 2026 at the age of 63 in Nipawin Saskatchewan. Rick is survived by his mother Shirley Smith (of Nipawin), his two sons David Smith (of Swift Current) and Jason Smith (of Lloyd Minster) two grandchildren Maddie Smith and Avery Smith (of Lloyd Minster). Rick was predeceased by his father James (Jim) Smith (of Prince Albert) and his brother Grant Smith (of Edmonton).

Rick loved to fish, camp, and hang out with his dog “Buddy”. Rick was a private individual and wanted no service held for his passing. He would like his friends and family to remember him and the fun times they shared together.

Rick’s love of animals would mean a lot if you could donate to your local SPCA.
