Rebecca “Becky” Elise Mappin

It is with great sadness that the family of Rebecca “Becky” Elise Mappin announce her passing on March 14, 2026, in Prince Albert, SK. She was born on July 28, 1992, in Saskatoon, SK.

Rebecca worked at the Prince Albert Safe Shelter for Women. She loved dogs, country road drives, and listening to loud music. She also enjoyed working with the residents at work. But her favorite of all was to spend time with her family, including camping, hunting, and fishing with her dad, and watching T.V. with her fiancé.

Rebecca is survived by her loving fiancé, Bill Young; only child, Benson; parents, Vince and Elaine Mappin; only sister, Shelby (Greg); special cousin, Caitlyn; special friend, Teighlor; and many other cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends.

Rebecca is predeceased by her grandparents, Grandpa and Grandma Bremner, and Nana and Papa Mappin; special friend, Taylor Litwin; and numerous other family members.

A celebration of life will be held in the spring and will be announced at a later date.
