It is with deep sorrow and much love that we mourn the passing of Raymond Brunning of St. Albert (formally Prince Albert) on 2022.01.18 at the age of 84.

He will be lovingly remembered by his children; Gerald (Jill), Mark, Robert (Terri), Michele and Belinda (Cam), 7 grandchildren; Derek, Chris, Jennifer, Nicole (Taylor), Justin, Alex and Jackson, 4 great -grandchildren, Isla, Hadley, Ezra and Katie, 2 sisters Julia and Mary and numerous relatives and friends.

He was predeceased by his loving wife of 56 years Edna (nee Lemieux).

Ray was retired after a 40 year career with Correctional Services of Canada. He worked primarily at Saskatchewan Penitentiary and then ended his career at the Edmonton Institution for women. He was a mentor to many and admired by those who knew him. He played fastball in his teens and young adulthood as a pitcher in the Prince Albert area, he was a member of The Knights of Columbus and he and Edna were very involved in the church. He will be dearly missed.
