PISTUN – Mr. Randy Vindlan
(October 12, 1957 – July 23, 2011)
With profound sadness, we announce the passing of Randy Pistun. A husband, son, brother, father, grandfather and a friend, he will truly be missed by all who knew him. Randy was born October 12, 1957 to Vindlan and Annie (Burka) Pistun, at Snowden, Saskatchewan. Randy passed away peacefully on July 23rd, 2011 with his family by his side.
Randy worked construction in various jobs in Northern Saskatchewan until he found his true calling, real estate. He worked for various agencies over the past 30 years in Prince Albert, and served as an educator and mentor for the industry. Randy has received several Sales Leadership Awards throughout his career and in 2006 received the CMHC Realtor of the Year Award. He has served twice as the President of the Prince Albert Real Estate Board and various local committees. He has also served with the Saskatchewan Real Estate Association and the National Political Action Committee. His honest approach to business was respected and recognized by his colleagues. He had a special connection to clients, especially those from rural communities.
Randy was known to always have a joke or a story to make you smile. He loved nothing better than an evening spent with friends; shared laughter and playing his guitar during family get togethers. Randy’s family was the center of his life; he took great joy in caring and providing for his entire family, and watching his children and grandchildren grow. Throughout his life Randy positively impacted many lives; he was sincere and genuine to a fault.
