It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of our beloved mom, Pearl Paluk. Mom passed away peacefully on March 20, 2025, at the age of 92, with her daughter and granddaughter by her side at the Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert. Mom was born on June 22, 1932, in Gronlid, Sk. and spent her life surrounded by family, friends, and loved ones who admired her strength, resilience, independence and unwavering love.
Mom eventually moved to the farm with the love of her life John Paluk. She worked for many years at the Sanitorium and North Park Centre before becoming a farm wife. Together, with Johnny, they created a loving family and ran a thriving farm. Mom’s love for her family was limitless, and she will be deeply missed by her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, who always cherished her wisdom, warm smile, and silly sense of humour.
Mom’s life was filled with love, laughter, and an enduring dedication to those she cared for. Pearl’s impact on the lives of those who knew her will be felt for years to come. A devoted mother, grandmother, and friend, mom leaves behind a legacy of deep love for family. Her presence will be sorely missed, but her memory will remain a guiding light for those who were lucky enough to know her.
Mom will be dearly missed by her two daughters, Sharon (Pat) Tooley and Linda (Ward) Howat; her five grandchildren, Shannon (Jeff) Heck, Allan (Danielle) Howat, Ashlee (Jason) Piper, Brandy (Kyle) Reindl, and Mandy (Sheldon) Reddekopp; and her great grandchildren, Oliver, Finn, Korbyn, Anthony, Arlie, Hunter, Nova, Kruz, Brielle, Emmie, Leo and Goldie. She will also be missed by many other loving family members.
Mom is preceded in death by her loving husband, John Paluk, her son, Dennis Paluk, her sister and best friend, Doreen Lemoal, and numerous beloved family members. .
A service to honor mom’s life will be held at a later time. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Rose Garden Hospice in Prince Albert who provided such wonderful care to Pearl and her family in her final days.
