Patrick Stefanski
March 17, 1948 – April 28, 2013

It is with deep sadness and sorrow that the family of Patrick John Stefanski announce that he was taken home to be in the arms of his son Jason and his father Stanley. Pat will be lovingly remembered by his wife Doris; his mother Stella; his brothers Ed, Bob (Elaine), John and Terry (Liz); his sisters Rita and Tracey (Mike) Prystupa; Doris’ children Bradley (Shelley) Moore & their daughter Michelle, Michael (Kara) Moore & their children Matthew, Bria and Adam Suzanne (Chad) Berezniuk & their children Brandin and Justin; his two grandsons Max and Griffin. He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Kimberley (daughters Mackenzie & Morgan), Jeff, Jason, Justin & Jaylynn, Chad & Donovan, Nicholas & Natasha Prystupa and numerous cousins, aunts and uncles. Pat was predeceased by his son Jason (2004) and father Stanley (2005). Pat loved being a carpenter and was always so proud of the work he did. He started his career on the construction of the PA Pulpmill, moved to Calgary and worked with Commonwealth Construction on commercial buildings. He then moved to Edmonton where he did framing and building of residential homes. He spent many years in Edmonton and this is where he met the love of his life Doris Moore. When they moved back to Prince Albert they worked together building homes and sharing their life. Pat was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing, hunting and snowmobiling. In this past year of his life Pat became well known to his family and friends as the best beef jerky maker around. Funeral Service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Friday, May 3, 2013 at Gray’s Funeral Chapel, 575 – 28th Street West, Prince Albert, SK with Mrs. Margaret Ferchuk officiating. Interment will be held at Prince Albert Memorial Gardens. In lieu of other tributes memorial donations can be made to the Cancer Clinic, Royal University Hospital, 20 Campus Drive, Saskatoon, SK S7N 4H4.
