It is with heartbreak and sorrow that we announce the peaceful passing of Patrick Roger Dansereau on November 17, 2025, in Calgary, AB, at the age of 46.

Patrick showed his boys a wonderful example of strength and bravery, his never-ending humor during his last days as he struggled with diabetes. Patrick and Jackie were very dedicated to their boys, coaching T-Ball and Baseball until the boys aged out and Patrick was no longer able to due to his health. He was fondly known as “Coach Pat” to all the teams and he will be in their memories forever. “Have fun out there” was his motto.

Pat is survived by his wife, Jackie; sons, Dayton and Luca; mother, Pierrette “Lyn” Dansereau; brothers, Terance (Lana) and their child, Seth, and Chris (Courtney) and children, Sanoi (Tim), and Jovee; mother-in-law, Marie Escobar; brother-in-law, Raul (Tatana) and their children Caleb, Elyh, and Deontay; grandmother, Denise Lajeunesse; and his special cousin, Norman Densereau who stuck by his “little bro” until the end.

Pat is predeceased by his father, Roger Dansereau; father-in-law, José Escobar; grandparents, Partick Lajeunesse, and Hercule and Parmelia Dansereau.

A Celebration of Life will be held in Calgary, AB, in the spring. In lieu of other tributes, donations in may be directed to the Kidney Foundation of Canada, https://kidney.ca/
