Patrick Roberts was born on Sunday, March 17, 1946 in Lough Lake, SK and passed away on Wednesday, March 22, 2017 in La Ronge, SK at the age of 71 years. Patrick is survived by his loving family, his special friend, Maggie Grace Ratt; his children, Patsy Roberts (Leroy), Mary Roberts, Bella Roberts (Charlie), Nancy Roberts (Isiah) and Leona Roberts (Gordon); his step-sons, Bruce Thompson and Ricky Ratt (Melinda); his grandchildren, Eli, Connie, Bonnie, Lonnie, Jonnie, Victoria, Patrick, Jennifer, Shannon, Colton, Elaine, Teisha, David, Brett, Owen, Keisha, Teddy, Shal, jade, Darcy, John and Ricky Jr.; the mother of his children, Rose Roberts; his sisters, Jean McLeod (Richard), Emily Roberts and Susan Johnstone (Danny); his half-sister, Janet Murray; and his step-sister, Annie McKenzie; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, noosims, chapans, cousins and friends. He was predeceased by his son, Patrick Jr.; his parents, David and Mary (nee Charles) Roberts; his brothers, Walter, Lionel and Charlie; his sisters, Martha McLeod and Nancy Roberts, his father-in-law, Larry Clarke; his mother-in-law, Angelique McKenzie; and his brothers-in-law, Angus McLeod and Gideon McLeod. A wake service will be held at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, March 25, 2017 at Numepith Sepiy Hall in Sucker River, SK, and continue on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Nihithow Awasis School Gym in Grandmother’s Bay, SK. Patrick’s funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, March 27, 2017 at St. Peters Anglican Church in Grandmother’s Bay, SK, Reverend Richard Custer officiating. Interment to follow at Grandmother’s Bay Cemetery.
