Patricia Jeanne Taylor
December 23, 1941 – February 14, 2017
Pat Taylor (nee Taggart), late of Prince Albert, SK, passed away on Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Prince Albert after a long battle with Cancer. She is survived by her brother: Brian (Debbie) Taggart; her three sisters: Barb Becker, Leslie (Doug) Squires and Roxane Taggart; as well as several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband: Wilf, in December 1990; her parents: Jim and Kay, in December 1991; her sisters: Faye Bollmann, in December 2015 and Sandy Callaghan, in March 2016. Patsy and Wilf lived in Saskatoon, Winnipeg, and St. Albert before settling in Calgary. They enjoyed going to the lake in their community and having their nieces and nephews spend their summer vacations with them and/or temporarily living with them. Patsy was involved with a local curling club and attended many bonspiels. After Wilf’s passing, she bought a cabin at Emma Lake just like she and Wilf were going to do when he retired. She continued to curl, knit and volunteer with the Christopher Lake Legion. In the last few years Patsy sold her cabin and returned to Prince Albert while keeping a trailer at the lake for summer living. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her. At her request, there will be no service. In lieu of other tributes, a memorial donation may be made in Pat’s name to the Prince Albert SPCA, 1125 North Industrial Drive, Prince Albert, SK, S6V 5T1. Arrangements in care of MacKenzie Chapel & Crematorium. Brian and Bev Stobbs, Tracy-Lynn Switzer, Funeral Directors. Condolences may be sent to the family at www.MacKenzieChapel.ca 306.763.8488
