Mrs. Patricia Muriel Letendre (nee: Nutter), late of Leask, SK, passed away on Monday, September 13, 2021, at Wheatland Lodge in Leask, SK. Memorial Mass for Patricia will be held at 1:00 PM on Saturday, September 18, 2021, at St. Henry’s RC Church, Leask SK.
In lieu of tributes, memorial donations may be made in memory of Patricia to the Alzheimers Society of Saskatchewan (301 – 2550 12th Avenue, Regina, SK S4P 3X1).
Patricia was born on July 30, 1947, in Prince Albert, SK to Clara and Amos Nutter. She attended the Leask School. Pat found the love of her life, Alfred Letendre, and they were married in February of 1966, and then moved to Calgary, AB. She worked as a receptionist at the Alberta Agriculture until 1985 before working as a Librarian and Educational Assistant at the Leask School until her retirement in 2013.
Patricia loved taking students on European Tours, traveling as well as being an active member of The Metis Society of Saskatchewan. She also loved doing her family’s genealogy and was passing it on to the next generation.
Patricia is lovingly survived by her loving husband, Alfred Letendre of Leask; her children Dean (Raina) of Airdrie, AB and children, Tanya, Allan, Danielle, Leif, Sierra; Ian Letendre of Leask and daughter, Shelby Letendre; Neil Letendre of St. Albert, AB and children, Brooklyn & Brody; her sister, Joyce Scherstobitoff; her sisters-in-laws, Theresa (Charlie) Sinclair and Donna Nutter; as well as numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and many friends. Patricia is predeceased by, her parents, Amos & Clara Nutter; her brothers, William & Douglas Nutter; and her brother-in-law, Walter Scherstobitoff.
